    this looks like an insect we found in our bathtub. George was disgusted but I thought it was beautiful, with feathery pink legs and wavering antenna.

    Yeah, after I made it it seemed centipedal. Some eastern cultures prize centipdes as pets — they control household bugs. They move erratically, with cunning and intelligence. I left one alone at my last apartment. I rarely saw it.
